About the role#
As a Banking Advisor Intern, you will focus on client-centered sales and problem-solving. You will assist clients with their daily banking, credit, and investment needs while acting as an ambassador for the bank. This role involves working in the branch and the community to help clients reach their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients to uncover their banking needs and provide relevant advice.
- Identify sales and referral opportunities while helping clients with financial transactions.
- Educate clients on digital tools and banking technology.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners to support business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and availability to work all open business hours.
- Pursuing studies in Finance or Business Administration.
