About the role#
This Systems Intern position is based in Huntsville, Alabama, within the Tactical, Communications, and Maintenance Applications team. You will support the design and development of avionics solutions for military aircraft. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship. The role is on-site.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and evaluate communication systems tasks using engineering tools within an Agile framework.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to plan and develop military technology.
- Work with cross-functional groups to evaluate requirements for software prototypes.
- Implement design requirements and testing scripts for software integration and verification.
- Perform tasks independently with guidance from a mentor.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
