About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Test Equipment Intern, you will join the team in El Segundo, California, for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will work on the development and production of radar systems, focusing on the design and integration of special test equipment.
What you'll do#
- Write requirements for test equipment.
- Design FPGA-based test equipment.
- Create schematics using CAD tools like Creo.
- Perform integration and testing of special test equipment.
- Learn the Systems Engineering V model, including requirements, verification, integration, and validation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with firmware development on FPGAs.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as Creo or Orcad.
- Experience with AI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
