About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the build, test, and delivery of software applications for advanced systems that process modern communications. You will work on complex technical problems, participate in cross-disciplined integrated product teams, and support field deployments. You will operate with the guidance of a product lead and team members to ensure system configuration and functionality.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement innovative software solutions.
- Perform code reviews and support testing to meet project goals.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and verification of systems during field deployments.
- Collaborate with team members on architecture, design, and integration tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- Software development experience, including C++ in a Linux environment.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Linux Script, or Bash.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required).
- Preferred experience includes Qt, Angular web GUI development, multithreading, embedded software design, hardware integration, Git, CMake, and TCP/IP protocols.
