About the role#
As an intern on the Developer Platform team, you will work on initiatives that improve how our software teams build, deploy, and manage applications. You will join a squad and contribute to projects involving automation, agentic AI, and platform engineering. Your specific tasks will depend on current team priorities.
What you'll do#
- Build and prototype agentic AI solutions to help developers understand code, automate tasks, and resolve technical issues.
- Simplify tools and processes to improve the daily experience for software engineers.
- Collect and analyze data to track engineering performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Automate recurring operational tasks to increase reliability and platform adoption.
- Evolve CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to support secure delivery.
- Work on development, deployment, and operations platforms including cloud and containerized environments.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product owners to solve problems and propose improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program for software engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with software development concepts and at least one programming or scripting language.
- Practical experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or collaborative tools like Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to automation, APIs, or operational improvements.
- Experience with cloud, container, or infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Copilot, Azure, Artifactory, or ArgoCD.
- Awareness of AI-assisted development, software quality, and cybersecurity practices.
