About the role#
The Software Engineer Intern role supports the Missile Defense Sensors Software Department during the summer of 2027. You will join an agile team to design, develop, test, and release software products for Radar or Command and Control programs. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Woburn, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time application software and tools.
- Develop new work products or enhance existing applications and systems.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Follow established development practices to maintain configuration management of software products.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an applicable discipline.
- Experience developing software with C, C++, Java, or Ada.
- U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a U.S. security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to the start date.
