About the role#
The Advanced Measurements Research and Development group is looking for an engineering student to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. This internship supports the development of new measurement techniques and diagnostic capabilities used to verify the structural integrity of gas turbine engines. You will work on tasks related to commercial or military engines depending on the needs of the business.
What you'll do#
- Perform instrumentation installations and develop sensor applications.
- Assist with hardware reviews and engine assembly.
- Conduct bench testing and develop CAD tools.
- Generate technical reports and process documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Practical experience with testing, manufacturing, and technical group projects.
