    About the role#

    As a Production Hardware Electrical Engineer Intern, you will join the Electrical Engineering Directorate to support the design, manufacture, and testing of advanced electrical subsystems. You will work within a team to address technical challenges related to target detection, guidance, navigation, and signal processing. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with technical mentors and shadow experienced professionals in the aerospace and defense industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to the CCA and component levels.
    • Resolve technical issues on production lines and during testing, including interactions with suppliers.
    • Conduct failure analysis, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
    • Create and present solutions for electrical engineering drawing updates.
    • Investigate and implement projects aimed at improving processes or testing methods.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.
    • Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
    • Experience with at least one of the following: RF, analog, digital, mixed signal, or circuit design and analysis.
    • U.S. citizenship is required.
    • An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
