About the role#
GE Vernova is hiring a Hardware Engineering Intern to support critical infrastructure communications. This role is based in Rochester, New York, and is available for the Spring or Summer 2027 terms. You will gain exposure to industrialization at our onsite manufacturing plant while developing products for energy, oil and gas, and transportation sectors.
What you'll do#
- Apply your Electrical Engineering skills to hardware design for real-world applications.
- Complete assigned projects using your academic knowledge to deliver positive outcomes.
- Provide progress updates and status reports to project management.
- Estimate the time required to implement features and resolve issues to assist with task prioritization.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time, accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Completion of at least two full years of college.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
