About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to join the Global Operations Data Science and Advanced Analytics team. You will work alongside data scientists, analysts, and software developers to build solutions that improve manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and operational performance. The role focuses on delivering clean, reproducible code and rigorous documentation within a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Design, deploy, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality datasets.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and operational opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions.
- Support the automation of data workflows and pipelines to improve reporting efficiency.
- Communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship period.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, Spark, and SQL.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices for building trust in analytics.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts.
Location & details#
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5th to April 23rd, 2027).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work from the Longueuil facility Monday through Friday with flexible hours.
- Requirements: The role requires a functional knowledge of English to read technical documentation and communicate with international colleagues.
