About the role#
This internship focuses on project engineering for PT6A engines. You will work with the project team to manage engine programs, support design and certification, and follow manufacturing and experimental testing processes. The role is based in Longueuil, Quebec, for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering tasks related to in-service PT6A engines.
- Execute product support, implement improvements, and manage engineering changes.
- Assist the PT6A project team with daily tasks and activities.
- Support design, certification, and manufacturing follow-up.
- Help coordinate experimental tests and manage engine program schedules.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Pursuit of a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in French, both spoken and written.
- Functional knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings, and to communicate with international colleagues or suppliers.
- Ability to work on-site in Longueuil, Monday through Friday.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and clearance for handling controlled goods.
