About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team at our Longueuil facility. You will collaborate with EHS advisors, supervisors, plant employees, and process specialists in a unionized environment. This is a full-time, paid position running from September 8, 2026, to December 18, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Conduct preventive EHS inspections across various departments.
- Execute activities outlined in the annual EHS plan.
- Participate in incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
- Track and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist with EHS risk analyses for workstations.
- Provide guidance on the application of laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Recommend improvements to existing safety procedures and work methods.
- Identify and evaluate risks related to equipment and processes to propose corrective measures.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian university program in Health and Safety, Human Resources, or Industrial Relations.
- Proficiency in French (written and spoken) and functional English skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize information.
- Ability to communicate clearly and explain technical information effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working in a team environment.
- Previous relevant experience in Occupational Health and Safety is an asset.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to work on-site for the duration of the internship.

- Work Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Term: Fall 2026.
