About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to support the assembly and instrumentation processes for a new engine program. You will work closely with development engineers to learn how gas turbines are assembled and tested. This position is suitable for an independent professional interested in hands-on engineering support.
What you'll do#
- Assist development engineers in preparing certification tests.
- Collaborate with engineers on gas turbine engine setup and preparation.
- Identify and manage instrumentation points in Request for Test documents according to established conventions.
- Manage and update the database of all instrumentation points for the new engine program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, physics, and strength of materials.
- Functional knowledge of English for reading technical documentation, plans, and drawings.
- Strong communication skills, autonomy, and the ability to work in a team.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and relevant clearances for handling controlled goods.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Location: Longueuil, Quebec (Plant 1).
- Modality: Exclusively on-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
