About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Twin Falls, Idaho. You will work in a hybrid capacity to gain practical experience in agricultural finance. The program lasts 10 weeks and pairs you with a mentor to support your professional development. You may be required to travel up to 15 percent of the time.
What you'll do#
- Learn about various loan structures and credit products.
- Source loan documents, create covenants, and manage imaging.
- Perform financial spreading and analyze financial statements.
- Research and track loan delinquencies.
- Rotate through different functions, including relationship management, underwriting, and appraisals.
- Complete a summer-long project and present your findings to the local team and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Ag Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related major.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently or in teams.
- Experience or knowledge in agriculture is preferred.
