About the role#
As a Tax Japanese Business Network Intern, you will work within our Tax practice to support clients with their tax strategies and compliance needs. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2028. You will gain exposure to the needs of entrepreneurial and private businesses while learning how we deliver solutions for growth and wealth management.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax data to identify savings and compliance opportunities.
- Participate in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance projects.
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to draft tax documents for clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Business level fluency in both Japanese and English.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically, you should be in the third year of a four-year degree program or the fourth year of a five-year program.

- This is an on-site role.
- Locations include Rosemont, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Detroit, MI; New York, NY; and San Francisco, CA.
