About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will join the Tax practice to support teams in delivering tax services. You will participate in projects, learn our methodologies, and perform tasks that contribute to team success. This role provides an opportunity to observe professional work environments while you develop your skills in tax consulting.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- You must meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.

- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2028.
- Type: Full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation: $29.25 to $48.00 per hour.
