    About the role#

    Aldrich is offering a summer internship through our Promoting Opportunities & Outstanding Leaders (POOL) program. This experience provides exposure to tax, audit, and consulting services. You will work alongside our professional teams to gain a broad understanding of public accounting while developing your skills through focused education and varied project work.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop an understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts.
    • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior associates and managers.
    • Prepare audit planning documents, procedures, reports, and tax returns.
    • Review and evaluate internal control systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Examine and organize account and tax records.
    • Compute taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
    • Assist in conducting tax research, studies, and special projects.

    What you'll need#

    • An expected or completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics.
    • Superior communication skills.
    • Excellent research and writing skills.
    • An ambitious mindset with a desire to continually improve.
    • Please provide unofficial transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate coursework with your application.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site, paid internship for Summer 2028.
    • Positions are available in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Salem, Oregon.
    • The role is non-exempt and requires up to 32 hours per week for 8 weeks.
    • Compensation is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
    • Sponsorship is not available for this position.
