About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within our Tax practice to support teams in delivering tax services. You will focus on learning our methodologies, participating in projects, and performing tasks that contribute to team success. This role provides exposure to tax consulting, including corporate tax returns, compliance, and research. You will observe professional work environments and develop your skills while working with a team to provide advice and planning strategies.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Assist in the analysis of complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and provide innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- You must be in your third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time.
