About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits. You will work within a team to provide objective assessments that help clients maintain transparency and regulatory compliance. This role is designed to build your understanding of financial reporting and audit methodologies while you contribute to project goals.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Document audit processes and findings.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls.
- Use data analysis skills to support the audit process.
- Observe and learn from experienced auditors.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0, with a preference for 3.5.
- Ability to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting a full-time role.
