About the role#
This is a four-month co-op position within the International Tax Services practice at PwC in Toronto. You will join a team that helps Canadian and foreign companies navigate the complexities of cross-border operations, investments, and tax regulations. This role provides exposure to real-time tax work during the busy season, supported by experienced professionals and digital tools.
What you'll do#
- Assist Canadian and foreign companies with cross-border investments, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing.
- Advise on complex international tax matters and global tax treaty applications.
- Optimize tax positions for clients.
- Deliver strategic insights to help clients manage risks and make informed business decisions.
- Navigate the complexities of international operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in post-secondary education in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or International Relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and learning new technology trends.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team.
