About the role#
Join the Buildings team as a Project Controls Intern. You will gain hands-on experience in project controls, cost management, and project delivery within a consulting environment. This role supports project managers and professionals by contributing to business activities and project reporting. You will develop technical skills while working on projects that shape local communities.
What you'll do#
- Compile project information, resumes, schedules, and documentation for proposal development.
- Maintain project records, financial data, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and controls professionals to support project delivery and client needs.
- Participate in meetings to learn about project planning, scheduling, and financial controls.
- Build knowledge of project management processes within a multidisciplinary environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well within a team.
- A strong interest in project controls, project delivery, and the built environment.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally.

- Compensation: $24.80 - $32.65 per hour.
