About the role#
Hatch is seeking an HR Co-op Student for a 4-month internship starting in January 2027. Reporting to the HR Service Centre Lead, you will work from our Mississauga head office to support our global teams. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
You will support various HR generalist activities and assist with day-to-day employee requests. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating new hire files and supporting the onboarding process.
- Maintaining data in the HR Information System.
- Participating in the creation of reports and managing databases.
- Assisting with HR program and process reviews.
- Supporting payroll administration duties as needed.
- Handling other administrative tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year student in a Bachelor's degree in Business or a similar program, or a diploma specializing in Human Resources.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and a positive attitude toward learning and new challenges.
- Critical and creative thinking skills.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors or SAP is considered an asset.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills are considered an asset.
