About the role#
As a Financial Risk Advisory intern, you will support clients by improving their risk management and internal control capabilities. You will contribute to our advisory services during a period of growth, helping organizations achieve their strategic objectives while navigating complex financial, operational, and regulatory risks. This role offers exposure to the full value protection chain, including governance, resource optimization, and compliance audits.
What you'll do#
- Support internal audit, compliance, and risk management functions through strategic advisory and co-sourcing solutions.
- Complete audit and advisory work while adhering to established budgets and timelines.
- Document audit evidence and validate its quality and relevance.
- Analyze how control deficiencies impact financial data and overall strategy.
- Maintain clear communication with engagement leaders to ensure consistent deliverables.
- Build collaborative relationships with team members and clients.
- Identify business development opportunities to promote our services.
- Stay informed about trends in regulation, risk, governance, and technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in post-secondary studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Computer Science.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
- Ability to solve complex regulatory and risk management issues.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and a willingness to learn new tools.
- Intellectual humility and a continuous learning mindset.
- Passion for the impact of data, analytics, and automation.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Alignment with PwC values and authorization to work in Canada.
