About the role#
This internship provides experience within the Assurance practice. You will support audit teams working with Japanese business clients. The role focuses on learning professional audit methodologies while contributing to the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting. You will work alongside experienced auditors to provide independent assessments for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits for Japanese business clients.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure they meet accounting standards.
- Assist with the application of GAAP and GAAS during audit engagements.
- Analyze data to identify financial trends and insights.
- Develop an understanding of internal controls used to safeguard financial information.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Winter 2028.
- The role is on-site at our offices in Rosemont, Los Angeles, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, New York, or San Francisco.
