About the role#
This is a full-time, paid position for a Nursing Assistant Student at Providence Valdez Medical Center. You will participate in an educational process to learn fundamental resident care skills based on facility practices. This role focuses on providing patient-centered, whole-person care.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply basic resident care skills.
- Engage in the formal educational process for nursing assistance.
- Deliver patient-focused care that emphasizes understanding and respect.
What you'll need#
- An interest in learning the fundamentals of resident care.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required within 30 days of hire).
- Six months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver is preferred.
