About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to gain hands-on experience in engineering and design. The role involves collaborating with project managers, architects, and other designers to deliver mechanical systems for various building types.
What you'll do#
- Design mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
- Assist in preparing building models, contract documents, and load and equipment sizing analyses.
- Provide drafting services and final engineering documents that meet company standards.
- Contribute to the project team to help hit project schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to understand changes to project scope and design.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an EAC/ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree program.
- At least one year of undergraduate studies completed by Summer 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience with Revit is strongly preferred.
