About the role#
Progressive Companies is hiring a Construction Management Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time position. You will work alongside project managers and superintendents to support projects from the initial design phase through final construction.
What you'll do#
- Work with the project team to meet budget and schedule requirements.
- Create project work scopes for bidding, pre-bid meetings, and post-bid interviews.
- Use Microsoft Project to maintain construction schedules while coordinating with owners and subcontractors.
- Supervise construction activities and maintain daily field reports.
- Enforce OSHA requirements and promote job site safety.
- Prepare and supervise the completion of final punch lists.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies by summer 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of design and construction industry trends and site safety.
