About the role#
This paid internship offers a full-time experience within a multi-disciplinary firm. You will work alongside experienced mentors to gain industry knowledge and build your professional network. The program includes hands-on client projects, project site visits, and education sessions to help you develop your skills.
What you'll do#
- Organize and catalog materials, samples, and product literature in the Design Library.
- Develop finish boards and binders during various phases of project development.
- Assist with the preparation of working drawing contract documents, sketches, plans, details, and schedules using Revit.
- Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, and project architects to keep the Design Library organized.
- Prepare design presentation materials and assist designers with client meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a CIDA-accredited Interior Design or Interior Architecture Bachelor’s degree program.
- At least one year of undergraduate studies completed by Summer 2027.
- Basic knowledge of sustainability and other trends in the design and construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using Revit or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
