About the role#
Raymond is hiring a Mechanical Designer Intern to support the mechanical engineering team. You will work on building systems including HVAC and plumbing for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. This role provides hands-on experience and mentorship in an engineering consulting environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist mechanical engineers with research, design tasks, and technical project support.
- Develop mechanical system drawings, specifically HVAC and plumbing layouts.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling activities.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and data collection.
- Help prepare project documentation, technical reports, and site visit reports.
- Work with project teams to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior in high school or currently enrolled in an engineering program.
- Strong skills in math and science.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Exposure to AutoCAD or Revit, or a willingness to learn these programs.
- An interest in mechanical engineering and building systems design.

- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
