About the role#
Raymond is hiring a Civil Designer Intern to support our engineering team with design, drafting, and project tasks. This role provides hands-on experience with site development and infrastructure projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to prepare documentation and perform technical analysis. This position is open to students currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with research, design tasks, and technical project support.
- Support the preparation of engineering drawings, plan sets, and design documentation.
- Perform calculations and basic analysis consistent with civil engineering principles.
- Participate in field activities such as site inspections, surveying support, and data collection.
- Assist with hydrology and hydraulics analysis.
- Use Autodesk Civil 3D to support drafting activities.
- Coordinate with project team members to communicate design results and progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program.
- Strong math, science, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Interest in or exposure to Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred.
- Interest in hydrology and hydraulics software is a plus.
