About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in McKinney, Texas. You will work on-site to support Life Cycle Engineering, ensuring our products remain safe, reliable, and maintainable. This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance on your first day. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain this clearance.
What you'll do#
- Support the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACAS) process.
- Assist in the development of Built-In test (BIT) and diagnostic requirements.
- Help define failure modes and analyze their effects on systems.
- Work alongside hardware and software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformances.
- Engage in reliability, maintainability, and testability requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or advanced STEM degree program, with at least 60 credit hours completed by the start date.
- Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics, gained through coursework, projects, or previous experience.
- Hands-on experience testing electronic equipment.
- Preferred majors include Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
