About the role#
Trane Technologies offers rolling Engineering Co-Op positions at our Tyler, Texas facility. This is a full-time, on-site role that provides hands-on experience in product, manufacturing, quality, or electrical engineering. Successful co-ops may have the opportunity to interview for full-time positions upon completion of their term.
What you'll do#
Your specific assignments depend on the engineering department, but you will generally contribute to the following areas:
- Analyze customer use profile data to identify product value.
- Improve designs to enhance manufacturability.
- Analyze production times and create job breakdown sheets.
- Support electronic hardware design engineers by performing troubleshooting and product testing.
- Develop quality systems for new and existing products.
- Organize and report analysis results to engineering teams and managers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Availability to work full-time for 6-8 consecutive months.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your own workflow.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations, work projects, or extracurriculars.
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
