About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Independence, Texas, contributing to FPGA development projects. This role requires U.S. citizenship.
What you'll do#
- Design and deliver production quality FPGA releases from concept through production.
- Write VHDL code with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and reusability.
- Verify designs using self-checking techniques, including directed and constrained random tests.
- Create documentation such as requirements, verification plans, and user guides.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineering teams.
- Assist in driving projects to meet program schedules and budget requirements.
- Participate in internal and external technical reviews.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience delivering FPGA solutions for system-level applications.
- Proficiency with FPGA timing constraints and timing closure.
- Experience integrating and debugging electronics using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
