This is a multi-rotation co-op opportunity for the Fall 2026 semester. The program is designed to provide cross-functional development across several areas of manufacturing engineering over an 18-month period. Participants will engage in three rotations, gaining hands-on experience in a production-driven environment while completing their degree.
What you'll do#
- Process Innovation: Design and deploy new processes and process improvements while working with cross-functional teams to implement new technology from concept to production.
- Casthouse Engineering: Gain experience in a molten metal foundry environment, focusing on thermal processes, combustion control systems, and automation.
- Manufacturing Engineering: Become familiar with ISO9001 Quality management systems, industrial robotics, and automation. Responsibilities include designing tooling and work holding for machining and developing CNC programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of at least 4 semesters of undergraduate education.
- A minimum 3.0 grade point average.
- Involvement in at least one extracurricular activity or prior work experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Location & details#
- Location: Barberton, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid co-op.
- Work Environment: The role is based in an interior production environment. You will be required to wear full Personal Protective Equipment to protect against mobile equipment and hot materials when on the shop floor. The position involves physical activity, including walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
