The Engineering Intern assists engineers in designing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes while gaining hands-on experience in a production environment. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside senior engineers to receive mentorship and contribute to critical manufacturing projects.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience and mentorship.
- Assist with completing and assessing Boeing's PCDs.
- Perform test bolt BOM clean-up to drive accurate test bolt demand and maintain appropriate min-max levels.
- Review processes and procedures in 3V to ensure correct flow through the de-oil process.
- Support the move of Moeller's equipment and products to SMA Mexico.
- Support other critical areas as assigned by senior engineers or engineering management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing principles, systems, and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, production staff, and suppliers.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production-related issues.

- Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour, based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
