Engineering Intern

About the role#

The Engineering Intern assists engineers in designing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes while gaining hands-on experience in a production environment. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside senior engineers to receive mentorship and contribute to critical manufacturing projects.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience and mentorship.
• Assist with completing and assessing Boeing's PCDs.
• Perform test bolt BOM clean-up to drive accurate test bolt demand and maintain appropriate min-max levels.
• Review processes and procedures in 3V to ensure correct flow through the de-oil process.
• Support the move of Moeller's equipment and products to SMA Mexico.
• Support other critical areas as assigned by senior engineers or engineering management.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited university as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles, systems, and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, production staff, and suppliers.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production-related issues.

• Location: Brea, California.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour, based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
