    About the role#

    As an Assembly and Tests process planner, you will support the engine center by maintaining electronic work instructions and ensuring assembly processes meet engineering standards. You will work alongside manufacturing analysts, engineers, assemblers, and inspectors to coordinate technical requirements and improve production quality. This role involves managing complex projects and contributing to the development of assembly and test sequences for turbine engines.

    What you'll do#

    • Plan, write, and develop computerized assembly factory specifications (eCATES).
    • Define assembly processes, tooling, and test equipment requirements.
    • Interpret complex engineering drawings, documents, and specifications.
    • Collaborate with engineering to create engine test instructions and sequences.
    • Incorporate engineering changes and RFN updates into documentation.
    • Support production by improving assembly processes and test sequences.
    • Act as a point of contact for temporary procedures during investigations.
    • Design databases to centralize tooling and assembly data.
    • Create a digital directory of reference models for engine blade air volumes.
    • Develop visualization and data collection tools for quality analysis and KPIs.
    • Conduct investigations into dimensional variations on parts and measurement systems.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Canadian university or CEGEP in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Eligibility to work in Canada.
    • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written) and good proficiency in English.
    • Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
    • Understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals.
    • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
    • Minimal knowledge of CATIA software and Visual Basic.
    • Experience with manufacturing processes, programming, or Python scripts is considered an asset.
    • Ability to deliver technical presentations.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
    • Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027) or Summer 2027.
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
