    About the role#

    The Human Research Ethics Office supports researchers with ethics applications and administrative requirements. As a Graduate Student Assistant, you will report to the Director of Human Research Ethics. You will assist with processing research ethics files and maintaining daily operations to ensure the unit meets its goals. This position is for 7-10 hours per week.

    What you'll do#

    • Generate study approval certificates, letters of acknowledgment, and closure documents.
    • Prepare summary reports for the Research Ethics Board and other internal units.
    • Perform data entry, statistical analysis, and results visualization of key performance indicators.
    • Handle special tasks as assigned by the Director, such as document copyediting and literature reviews.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a graduate student in good standing with the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
    • Completion of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans TCPS:CORE-2022 course.
    • High proficiency in data entry and general statistical analysis.
    • Ability to visualize results clearly.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills and a customer service mindset.

    • Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid work may be available under university guidelines.
    • Employment Status: Casual, part-time, and paid.
