About the role#
This internship is part of the MB-DMI team, which focuses on model-based definition, manufacturing, and inspection within the Quality organization. You will contribute to the deployment of 3D scanning solutions for engine component inspection. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality, delivery performance, and manufacturing costs through advanced metrology technologies.
What you'll do#
- Develop and industrialize elements of a 3D scanning methodology for complex engine parts, including tooling, data acquisition programming, and measurement techniques.
- Draft test plans, execute trials, document results, and share findings with the project team.
- Support the development of automation tools based on model-based definition technologies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, CATIA V5, and PolyWorks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities under pressure.
- Competence in project management, mechanical design, and statistical analysis.
- Functional English skills to read and understand technical instructions, plans, and specialized terminology.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to pass a background check for controlled goods handling.

- Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday.
- This is a paid internship.
