About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work on-site at our Tucson facility during the Summer 2027 term. This full-time internship focuses on the interpretation of design requirements and their translation into effective manufacturing processes. You will gain exposure to factory operations while supporting our production goals.
What you'll do#
- Use Raytheon systems and tools to support daily manufacturing processes.
- Assist with production operations and the broader manufacturing discipline.
- Help the team meet objectives regarding cost, quality, schedule, and safety.
- Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing defects, cycle time, and overall costs.
- Collaborate with the design community by providing feedback based on production methods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Practical experience or coursework related to manufacturing processes.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

- This role is based in Tucson, Arizona.
- This is an on-site position requiring time spent in and around factory areas.
- The internship is a paid, full-time commitment for Summer 2027.
