About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Tucson, Arizona. You will work on-site to support manufacturing objectives and factory operations. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in factory areas.
What you'll do#
- Identify throughput constraints by performing capacity and simulation analysis.
- Drive factory improvement project priorities using analytical tools.
- Coordinate factory capability needs for yield improvements and new technology.
- Apply Six Sigma and Lean Principles, including value stream mapping.
- Support manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering.
- Completed at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with Industrial Engineering processes and tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
