About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will join the Test Solutions Engineering team. You will work on hardware systems that support the full product lifecycle, from engineering labs to field operations. This is a full-time, paid internship role.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems.
- Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
- Build engineering and production test systems that meet cost and schedule goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout development and implementation.
- Validate systems using equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field prior to your start date.
- Knowledge of electrical components like resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Experience using test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the necessary security clearance.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Tewksbury, Andover, or Marlborough, Massachusetts.
- The internship follows a rolling term schedule.
