About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will design and develop electrical systems for the integration of equipment on military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will gain experience across various aircraft platforms and systems, including avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements efficiently.
- Perform electrical loads analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field at an accredited university.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
