About the role#
The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the build, integration, and testing of complex RF hybrid components and subassemblies. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship located in McKinney, Texas. You will work on-site and gain exposure to microwave automated factory processing capabilities. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Support the integration and testing of complex RF hybrid components.
- Analyze RF test data to identify trends and yield drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop projects that improve test yield and performance.
- Gain hands-on experience with troubleshooting and RF data capture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is desired.
- Experience in passive circuit design and EM modeling.
- Ability to perform structured design processes and root-cause problem solving.
- Familiarity with radio frequency measurement techniques, such as using spectrum analyzers, power sensors, and network analyzers, is preferred.
- A solid understanding of radio frequency principles, including phased array theory, is preferred.
