About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Airborne RF Electronics team for the Summer 2027 term. This role supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor program by coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve production issues. You will be based on-site in Plano, Texas, and must be a U.S. citizen to access program information.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the operation of Special Test Equipment while working to improve test yields.
- Perform technical evaluations of hardware and categorize failures.
- Prioritize and execute opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide status updates regarding hardware failures to program leadership.
- Travel periodically to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, or customer sites as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Experience working with standard engineering lab equipment.
- Ability to read and use schematic drawings for troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with fault isolation and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write reports and deliver presentations.
