About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Rockford, Illinois, and involves working with the Generator and Emergency Power Test Equipment group. You will support the development and production of aircraft power generation components through test equipment design and validation.
What you'll do#
- Provide electrical test setup support and perform troubleshooting.
- Coordinate test setups with test operators and collect performance data.
- Assist in facility upgrade projects.
- Support the design of test stand safety interlocks.
- Create electrical schematics to document designs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the completion of the internship.
- Experience with circuit design and wiring harnesses.
- Ability to work with test operators to modify and set up test equipment.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations.
