About the role#
This is a student hourly internship based in the Disbursement Services department at Prairie View A&M University. The position supports the university through administrative and financial tasks related to institutional payments and travel.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Account Payables processes.
- Support Travel Services operations.
- Help with Card Services tasks.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Prairie View A&M University.
- A minimum 2.0 GPA and good academic standing (SAP).
- During fall or spring terms, you must be enrolled in at least six undergraduate or nine graduate credit hours.
- For summer terms, you must be enrolled in at least three undergraduate credit hours or be preregistered for at least six hours for the upcoming fall or spring term.
- Majors in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration are preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Prairie View, Texas.
- The position is paid at $17.00 per hour.
- This is a part-time student worker role with a rolling term.
