About the role#
The Accounting Intern supports the department in recording, reporting, and monitoring the financial resources of the Foundation. You will assist with daily gift reporting, journal entries, and monthly budget updates to ensure accurate financial tracking.
What you'll do#
- Export and format daily gift reports.
- Prepare journal entries and review transfer requests.
- Update monthly budget worksheets and prepare pledge review forms.
- Export data for project management reviews.
- Scan documents and conduct research projects.
- Reconcile Excel worksheets and complete other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong reading comprehension and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain strict confidentiality.
