About the role#
The Oklahoma State University Foundation is looking for an organized student to support volunteer engagement, stewardship, and administrative coordination. This position offers experience in nonprofit administration, event planning, and higher education fundraising. You will work closely with the Director to manage volunteer programs and donor experiences.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and execution of Women for OSU Council meetings, including preparing agendas and materials.
- Support the management of the Women for OSU Symposium sponsorship program, including tracking commitments and sponsor communications.
- Coordinate retreat planning, which involves handling RSVPs, logistics, and food reservations.
- Manage inventory for gifts and marketing materials.
- Prepare birthday cards, send flowers, and assemble welcome baskets for speakers and guests.
- Assist with day-of event execution, including attendee check-in, name tags, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor the project email inbox and respond to inquiries.
What you'll need#
- Current Oklahoma State University student in good standing.
- Pursuing a degree in business administration, marketing, communications, public health, psychology, or non-profit management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in customer service or a similar role involving public interaction.
- Strong writing skills are preferred.
- Ability to lift or move materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
Location & details#
- Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, typically between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Term: Rolling start for the school year with potential to continue through the summer.
