About the role#
The Commercial Internship program offers students experience working alongside leaders in the Marketing and Sales organizations at GE Appliances. This program provides exposure to key business teams and offers the opportunity to interview for a full-time position in the Commercial Development Program after graduation. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
Interns work on various projects across teams such as Brand Management, Sales Operations, Pricing Analytics, and National Account Sales. Your responsibilities include:
- Perform market research and trend analysis.
- Conduct competitive cross shop and go to market strategies.
- Develop product cross reference guides.
- Develop promotional sales events dashboards and reporting.
- Support product line review development, financial plans, and promotional planning.
What you'll need#
- Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university program.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field.
- Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We do not provide employment visa sponsorship.
