About the role#
GE Appliances is hiring for an Engineering/Manufacturing Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience in manufacturing and operations by supporting the production of ovens and ranges. You will work within a team environment on assignments across disciplines such as shop operations, process engineering, quality, sourcing, and materials management. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in LaFayette, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Set goals and objectives for your rotation with your assignment leader.
- Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing.
- Use initiative to find and develop process improvements.
- Assist your team with the development and execution of project ideas.
- Develop and demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Work independently on assigned tasks.
- Set regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- A graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Willingness to explore all areas of the supply chain, including manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and distribution.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership roles on campus or in the community.
- Strong communication and effective team skills.

- Location: LaFayette, GA.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027 - May 07, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 1st shift (start times vary between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM). Some overtime and Saturdays may be required.
